P R A D A. The bust area seemed to be the focal point of the collection for the most part. Satin piping, stuffed and about an inch or so thick, contouring the breasts from below. Layers of ruffles over the breasts making them quite full while the rest of the garment left subdued and undecorated. In some cases, just below the ruffled bust line, there was a cut out exposing skin (loved that!). The girls went down the runway looking like stern 60's no-nonsense librarians with a confident sense of sexuality.
You wouldn't want to send your pubescent young son to the local public library with these girls on shift. The girls sported huge chignon bun of the 60's and 70's. The hair reminded me of a scene from Mommy Dearest when Jone visits Tina in her apartment. An extremely focused collection which is to be expected — Prada never fails in that regard.
